FAQS
What is "chemical residue" and what are its hazards to us?
"Chemical residue" refers to traces, remnants, or residual substances of chemicals left behind in a process, product, or environment. These chemical residues can originate from various sources such as chemicals, medications, pesticides, cosmetics, food processing, industrial production, environmental pollution, among others. Chemical residues are typically substances that have not fully decomposed, dissolved, or been removed.
What is "dry ice homogeneity"?
"Homogeneity" typically refers to a concept in statistics and data analysis, also known as "uniformity" or "homogeneity testing." It is used to assess the variation or dispersion of observed values within a dataset to determine if they are evenly distributed across the entire data range.
What is the minimum order quantity for dry ice?
For dry ice, our minimum order quantity is 1 kilogram (for self-pickup, additional charges apply for delivery). For other products, which are primarily machines, detailed product descriptions can be found on our website under the "Product Zone."
Differences between "Direct Pressing," "Dry Ice Pellets," and "Recycled Dry Ice Re-Pressing"
Direct Pressing of Dry Ice: This is a process for manufacturing dry ice pellets (blocks) where a compressor is used to inject liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) into a molding die. The CO2 is then cooled and pressurized to form uniform and regular dry ice pellets (blocks). This process is typically employed for producing high-quality dry ice suitable for various applications, such as food transportation, refrigeration, and special effects. Specialized equipment is often required for different sizes and shapes of dry ice
Do Customers Need to Provide Their Own Storage Containers?
Yes! Customers are required to provide their own storage containers. The freezing point of dry ice is extremely low, at -78.5 degrees Celsius (-109.3 ℉), and the sublimation loss rate is approximately 2-10% per day, depending on the quality of the storage container and the amount of dry ice stored. We also offer dry ice storage boxes (Thermal Insulated Boxes), including models BB030, BB060, BB100, and BB250, capable of holding 30kg, 60kg, 100kg, and 250kg of dry ice, respectively, and equipped with wheels for easy mobility. For more detailed product information, please refer to our "Product Section" on the website.
What is the application for dry ice?
Dry ice is widely applicable in various scenarios and uses due to its unique properties, such as extremely low temperature, lack of chemical residues, and non-conductivity. The following provides a brief overview of occasions suitable for the application of dry ice:
